Ranbir Kapoor Purchases Four Land Parcels in Mulshi Near Pune for ₹16.42 Crore

Pune Real Estate: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has expanded his real estate portfolio by purchasing four adjoining land parcels in Mulshi taluka near Pune for ₹16.42 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by real estate data analytics platform CRE Matrix.

The deal adds nearly 25.7 acres of land to the actor's growing property portfolio and highlights celebrities' rising interest in land purchases outside Mumbai.

Four Land Parcels Bought in Pimpri Village

The land parcels are located in Pimpri village in Mulshi taluka. The sale agreement was registered on April 30, 2026.

The transaction includes four adjoining plots with a combined area of 1,04,000 square metres (around 25.7 acres).

According to the registration records:

• The first land parcel measures 21,400 sq m and was purchased for ₹3.31 crore.
• The second parcel covers 29,900 sq m and was acquired for ₹4.62 crore.
• The third parcel measures 43,800 sq m and was bought for ₹7.07 crore.
• The fourth parcel spans 8,900 sq m and was purchased for ₹1.39 crore.

Together, the four properties were acquired for a total consideration of ₹16.42 crore.

Stamp Duty of Over ₹82 Lakh Paid

Property registration documents show that the transaction attracted a stamp duty of ₹82.13 lakh.

The purchase further strengthens Ranbir Kapoor's presence in India's real estate market, where several celebrities are investing in land and premium properties.

Ranbir Kapoor Also Invested in Ayodhya

This is not the actor's first major land purchase this year.

In May 2026, Ranbir Kapoor bought a land parcel worth around ₹3.31 crore at The Sarayu, a plotted development by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) in Ayodhya.

The plot measures 2,134 sq ft and is part of a 75-acre township located along the banks of the Sarayu River.

The project will feature a clubhouse, more than 35 lifestyle amenities, and a five-acre luxury hotel that The Leela will manage.

Celebrities Continue to Invest in Land

Ranbir Kapoor's latest purchase reflects a growing trend among Bollywood celebrities who are expanding their real estate investments beyond Mumbai.

Many actors and sportspersons are now buying agricultural land, plotted developments, holiday homes and premium residential properties in destinations such as Pune, Alibaug, Lonavala and Goa.

Industry experts say these locations are attracting investors because of improving infrastructure, better connectivity, and long-term appreciation potential.

Celebrity Real Estate Investments on the Rise

Several well-known personalities have made similar investments in recent years. Celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Virat Kohli, and Anushka Sharma have purchased land and premium properties in different parts of the country.

With his latest acquisition in Mulshi, Ranbir Kapoor has further expanded his real estate portfolio, joining the growing list of celebrities investing in land assets across India.
