Google Signs ₹671 Crore Office Lease Deal for 6.2 Lakh Sq Ft in Gurugram

Gurugram Real Estate: Google India Private Limited has taken on lease approximately 6.2 lakh sq ft of office space at DLF Atrium Place Tower 1 in Gurugram, committing nearly ₹671 crore in rent over a five-year.

Google Takes Large Office Space at DLF Atrium Place

Google India Private Limited has taken on lease approximately 6.17 lakh sq ft of office space at DLF Atrium Place Tower 1 in Gurugram. According to property documents accessed by Propstack, the office space has been leased from Atrium Place Developers Private Limited.


The lease covers floors 2 to 16 of the commercial tower and became effective on October 1, 2025. The deal is among the largest office leasing transactions recorded in Gurugram in recent years.


Google to Pay ₹671 Crore Rent Over Five Years.

Under the lease agreement, Google will pay a monthly rent of approximately ₹10.55 crore. The rental rate has been fixed at ₹171 per sq ft per month.


The total rental commitment over the five-year lease period is estimated at around ₹671 crore. Google has also deposited a security amount of ₹63.65 crore as part of the agreement.


The registered lease documents, signed in April 2026, show that the agreement includes a 15% rent escalation every three years, reflecting long-term confidence in the office market.


Gurugram Continues to Attract Global Companies

Industry experts believe the transaction highlights the growing importance of Gurugram as a leading business destination in India.


According to Raja Seetharaman, Co-founder of Propstack, Google's decision to lease more than 6.2 lakh sq ft of office space demonstrates strong demand for high-quality and sustainable office buildings in prime locations.


He noted that a long-term commitment of this scale by a global technology company reflects continued confidence in physical office spaces as important centres for collaboration, innovation, and business growth.


The deal also strengthens Gurugram’s reputation as a preferred location for multinational companies looking to expand or consolidate their operations in India.


Demand for Premium Office Space Remains Strong

Despite the growth of hybrid working models, large technology companies continue to invest in premium office spaces. Industry experts believe modern workplaces remain essential for employee engagement, teamwork, and business operations.


The latest transaction adds to a series of large office leasing deals witnessed across major commercial hubs in India over the past year.

Airbnb Also Expands Office Presence in Gurugram

In another significant commercial real estate transaction, Airbnb has leased 46,437 sq ft of office space at DLF Cybercity in Gurugram for its Global Capability Centre (GCC).


According to documents accessed by Propstack, the company will pay a monthly rent of approximately ₹61.53 lakh under a five-year lease agreement.


The office space is located in Building No. 5 (Tower A) of DLF Cybercity and became operational from October 1, 2025. Airbnb has agreed to a rental rate of ₹132.5 per sq ft per month and deposited ₹5.54 crore as security.


The company will also pay additional charges for parking facilities, including 38 dedicated parking spaces.


Growing GCC and Corporate Activity Boosting Office Market

The expansion plans of companies such as Google and Airbnb indicate strong demand for premium commercial real estate in Gurugram. The city continues to attract global corporations, technology firms, and Global Capability Centres looking for modern office infrastructure and strategic business locations.


These large leasing transactions are expected to further strengthen Gurugram’s position as one of India's leading commercial real estate markets.
